Last month TBS launched its first-ever interactive TBS HBCU Cash Out™ social media contest with actors Lance Gross (Star, MacGyver) and Keshia Knight Pulliam (The Cosby Show, House of Payne), and Monday, March 8 is the last day for entries!

For a sneak peek at some of the entries to date, please check out this VIDEO and feel free to share it with your audience or post it to your social platforms.

As proud graduates of historically black colleges and universities, Lance (Howard University) and Keshia (Spelman College) are joining TBS in calling for recent HBCU graduates to enter for a chance to win $25,000 to pay off their student loans. According to the U.S. Department of Education’s White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans, “Black college graduates have nearly $25,000 more student loan debt: an average of $52,726 in student debt, compared to $28,006 for the typical White bachelor’s graduate.”

The TBS HBCU Cash Out™ will economically empower the three winners, by alleviating their student loans and offering a huge step towards financial freedom.  Entrants have until Monday, March 8 to submit a video up to 60 seconds in length to either Instagram, Twitter or YouTube, and TBS will select three lucky grand prize winners.
