Dear Editor,

I am a Single Mom and SNAP recipient, and I am currently driving 25 miles to the nearest SuperWalmart to be able to use my EBT card for curbside pickup. In Maryland, Instacart, Giant, Amazon Prime or NO other food delivery services accept EBT online so I am forced to travel well outside of my neighborhood just to keep myself and my 6 yo daughter physically out of high-risk areas like grocery stores.

During this pandemic, it is urgent to ensure people with disabilities are not forced to choose between hunger and COVID-19. Please urgently push the USDA so SNAP (Food Stamps) recipients can use online purchasing and food delivery today. You can save lives at no extra cost. Sincerely,
