Comptroller to Speak to Annapolis-Parole Rotary; Visit DCS and ESHC in Cambridge

WHAT: Comptroller Franchot will speak to members of the Annapolis-Parole Rotary Club at a morning breakfast meeting at the Double Tree Hotel in Annapolis. Mr. Franchot will talk about his role as Comptroller and Maryland’s economy. Jim McCrea is the club’s president.
The Comptroller then will travel to Cambridge to visit two sites affiliated with Delmarva Community Services (DCS) Inc., which has provided an array of support services for the disabled, seniors and low-income people on the Eastern Shore for more than 40 years. The first site will be at the Community Action Agency which provides poverty assistance programs. The Comptroller then will visit DCS headquarters and meet clients and learn about ongoing and future projects. Santo Grande is DCS’ CEO and president.
The Comptroller’s final stop will be at the Eastern Shore Hospital Center (ESHC), where he will present a proclamation to CEO and President Randy L. Bradford for his longtime advocacy helping individuals with developmental disabilities. The ESHC is an inpatient psychiatric hospital operated by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
