The CSU Nonprofit Leadership Program in honoring an extraordinary Nonprofit Leader, Dr. Joanne Martin, Co-Founder and President of the Great Blacks in Wax (GBIW). GBIW is America’s first wax museum of African American history. On Monday, March 15, 2021 at 5:30pm the NPLS program will be honoring Dr. Martin for her outstanding contributions as a leader in the independent sector. In addition, to being recognized as one of Baltimore’s Nonprofit Sheroes, Dr. Martin will give a presentation on “Suffrage to Suppression: The Black Woman’s Battle to Vote.” Please help spread the word.
