This weekend’s star of events will be the Reginald F. Lewis Museum Early Century Gala. Girlfriend! This is another fun thing to do. I want you to head to a costume shop or any Good Will to pick out your attire to wear to an early 20th century party. The evening will feature a special live performance by National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master Ellis Marsalis, the guests will also enjoy a DJ and dancing, food and dessert and some interesting, festive and fun outfits, or you can just go dress formal/Black tie. I understand there will be live entertainment throughout the galleries (and perhaps a surprise appearance by Billie Holiday herself). (Now that would be a hell-la-va surprise!).
