Justin Tucker made five field goals as the Baltimore Ravens beat the New Orleans Saints, 22-13, in their preseason finale on Aug. 28 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
Tucker was the only starting player for the Ravens to take the field, and connected on all five of his field goal attempts.
Ravens backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor filled in for starter Joe Flacco; Taylor completed 10 of 17 attempts for 105 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Taylor’s touchdown came in the second quarter when he hooked up with receiver Deonte Thompson on an eight-yard end-zone completion.
Rookie running back Larenzo Taliaferro got the bulk of the work on the ground for Baltimore, carrying the ball 25 times for 88 yards. Fellow rookie running back Fitzgerald Toussaint also rushed for 103 yards on 17 carries.
Baltimore will start its regular season on Sept. 9 with a home opener against the AFC North rival Cincinnati Bengals at M&T Bank stadium.
