Cardin, National Taxpayer Advocate Hold Public Forum in Baltimore on Taxpayer Service Needs
Panel will bring together small businesses, local taxpayers and key IRS staff to trade ideas on ways to make it easier to comply with tax code
Friday, May 13 at 10:30 AM, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-Md.) and National Taxpayer Advocate Nina E. Olson will hold a public forum in Baltimore to discuss what taxpayers want and need from the Internal Revenue Service to comply with their tax obligations. The forum will feature a panel of representatives from the small business and local taxpayer communities, and will allow attendees the opportunity to share their perspectives on the extent to which they will continue to need telephone and in-person assistance, along with online support tools, into the future.
