October is SIDS Awareness Month
and this year, there is a different theme for each week!

Week 1 (October 4-10): Always place baby on his or her back to sleep.

The back sleep position carries the lowest risk of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) and is recommended for all babies until they are one year old. Placing baby to sleep on his or her back can help reduce the risk of SIDS.
