Safe Alternative Foundation for Education, Towson Athletics/ Total Tiger Program and the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity are holding a food and sock drive to provide 50 families with food baskets and two homeless shelters with socks.
Throughout the months of October and November, Safe Alternative and Partners are collecting canned goods, socks, and monetary donations to help a few of Baltimore City’s families in need.
This is a very feasible goal; however we will not be able to achieve it without the public’s help.
There are various drop-off locations around Baltimore. In addition, pickups of donations can be arranged. Please support, anything will help!
Due to the limited number of food baskets, our priority is to ensure that we service the families truly in need. Those interested in receiving a basket should register via email or phone before Nov. 18.
