The eyes of much of the nation are on Tulsa, Oklahoma and Charlotte, North Carolina in the wake police killings of Black men. But, issues of police misconduct are also pervasive in Maryland of course. We’ll get a live report from Catalina Byrd in Hagerstown where a 15-year old girl was roughed up by police, after she refused medical treatment during a bicycle accident. Video of the incident has gone viral. We’ll also talk to Chief Melvin Russell of the Baltimore City Police Department about the importance of true community policing.
