State Senator Joan Carter Conway is just one of several Black democrats who has decided to endorse Rep. Chris Van Hollen for U.S. Senate over Rep. Donna Edwards. Sen. Conway will join us to discuss her decision to back Van Hollen, when the more than capable Edwards could be the first Black from Maryland ever to be elected to the U.S. Senate. Also, Baltimore City Councilwoman Mary Pat Clarke discusses her bill to raise the minimum wage in Baltimore to $15 an hour.

These stories and more coming up this evening on AFRO’s First Edition with Sean Yoes.
