The Public Service Commission will hold an evidentiary hearing in February to determine if the proposed Pepco Holding, Inc. and Exelon Corporation merger, transaction is in the public interest.  In making this determination the Commission will look at seven public interest factors determined in Order No. 17597. In addition to the evidentiary hearing, the Commission will also convene four community hearings to receive comments from the public on these issues on the following dates: convene a community hearing to receive comments from the public on issues on Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. at the Thurgood Marshall Academy University of the District of Columbia Community College located at 2427 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, S.E. 801 North Capital Street, N.E.
