The coronavirus didn’t stop Marylanders from casting their ballot in the mail-in election. The special election on April 28 was held to fill the 7th Congressional District seat of the late Honorable Elijah Cummings. Democrat Kweisi Mfume emerged victorious against Republican Kimberly Klacik to fill a seat he previously held for five terms.
