Zion Baptist Church located at 4850 Blagden Ave., N.W. will continue the celebration of its 150th anniversary with a special performance of “The Slabtown District Convention,” a one-act comedy featuring some of the most memorable characters performed by Zion’s own on Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. The play, which is based on a group of missionaries attending their annual convention, is Free.
