UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) — Police in Prince George’s County are investigating the shooting death of a man in Suitland.
Police say it happened Friday night around 7:30 p.m. Patrol officers were called to the 3300 block of Curtis Drive for a report of a shooting. Police say when they arrived they found 27-year-old Maurice Donnell Featherson of Washington outside in a parking lot. He was suffering from an apparent gunshot and was taken to a hospital but died of his injuries.
Police say they do not believe the shooting was random and are working to identify a motive and suspects.
