Madame Tussauds Washington, D.C. celebrates the life of Nelson Mandela with a wax figure of the social and political icon. To remember his life and recognize the two years since his tragic passing, his wax figure will be placed next to the historic “Free Mandela” Sidewalk Slab located on the George Washington University’s campus, H Street, Between 22nd and 21st Streets NW, on Dec. 4 from noon – 2 p.m.
