Seven Washington players scored double digits—including Brad Beal with a game-high 23 points—as the Wizards made history with a 125-94 blowout victory over the Toronto Raptors in Game Four of the Eastern Conference first round series on April 26 in D.C. The win gives Washington a 4-0 sweep over the Raptors in the best-of-seven series, a first in Wizards franchise history.

Washington was completely on-fire shooting the ball, making just about every shot they took from deep range. The Wizards made 15 three-pointers as a team, the most in a single game this season. Veteran forward Paul Pierce led the way, making four-of-six from the arc and ended up with 14 points. Beal, along with forward Drew Gooden and guard Ramon Sessions, each made three three-pointers. Sessions had 15 points and Gooden ended with 13 – both off the bench.

Center Marcin Gortat controlled the paint for Washington, posting a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds; point guard John Wall also had a double-double of 14 points and 10 assists.

Raptors guard Kyle Lowry led Toronto with 21 points and eight rebounds.

Next: Washington advances on to the second round of the NBA playoffs, and will face the winner of the Atlanta Hawks versus Brooklyn Nets first-round series. Atlanta leads the series, 2-1.
