Comptroller, Gov.-elect Visit Easton and Cambridge for Shop Maryland for the Holidays

WHAT: Comptroller Franchot, Gov-elect Larry Hogan and Patrick Donoho, president of the Maryland Retailers Association, will visit several shops Monday in Easton and Cambridge as part of the Comptroller’s Shop Maryland for the Holidays annual tour. The Comptroller will begin his visit to Easton at Precision Printing & Embroidery, where he will present a proclamation to owners Joe and Dawn Welch, recognizing the business’ 10th year in business.
The Comptroller then will meet Gov.-elect Hogan, Mr. Donoho and local elected officials and business leaders at Sailor, a clothing store owned by Mark Greene, to begin his downtown historic Easton tour. The Comptroller will present a proclamation recognizing the business’ success and support for local youth. The tour will continue with stops at Shearer the Jeweler, Maya Bella Pizza and Main Roots, Dragonfly, Chef and Shower and Irish Traditions.
Continuing the tour in Cambridge, the Comptroller, Gov.-elect and Mr. Donoho will visit several downtown Cambridge businesses, starting at A Few of My Favorite Things. At the Sunnyside Shop, the Comptroller will present a proclamation to owner Heidi Griebel recognizing the store’s 10th anniversary. From there, he will stop by Realerevival Brewing, Katie Mae’s Country Shoppe, Liv Again and conclude the tour at Simmons Center Market.
