Comptroller Franchot to Participate in James Mosher Baseball Opening Day Parade in Baltimore

WHAT: Comptroller Franchot will take part in the parade at the opening day festivities for the James Mosher Baseball Little League Saturday. He also will speak and throw out the first pitch to officially commence the 2016 season. Founded in 1960 by the James Mosher Associates, James Mosher Baseball is believed to be the oldest continuously operating African-American youth baseball league in the country. The nonprofit group uses baseball as a vehicle to foster leadership development, team play and the ability to make healthy choices by creating an
environment that builds character, respect and confidence in youth.
