William Hughes Dillard (Jan. 7, 1932 – Nov. 19, 2024), the late U.S. Army Officer of Arlington County, Va., is remembered for his service at the Pentagon. In his final assignment as an active member of the military he served as chief of the Europe/Africa Division of the Defense Security Assistance Agency for the Department of Defense. Dillard was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery in 2024.
