Hello, hello, hello! To all my good friends and fans, how are you? Before I go any further, I want to personally thank each and every one of you for your love and support at my 22nd Annual Rosa Pryor Music Scholarship Fund Scholarship and Award Banquet. It was successful and thanks to you we were able to give five little children scholarships to pursue their dreams. But, honey child, thank God it is over, now I can relax a little bit and get ready for the next fundraiser.
Weโve got a helluva week coming up and I donโt want you to miss nothing. Now that I got your attention, letโs get started. First of all, a new musical stage play is coming to the Forest Park Senior Center, 4801 Liberty Heights on Nov. 2. Dinner starts at 5 p.m. The play, called A Typical Journey, will start at 6 p.m. starring Larry Lancaster and Meloni Harris Barber.
Also on this same day is the 10th anniversary of the Chic Boutique โRoyal Styleโ Vendor Awards Dinner & Fashion Show, where the owners will bestow awards and certificates upon vendors and businesses. The event will be held at the Catonsville Womenโs Club, 10 Saint Timothys Lane in Catonsville, Md. I believe it will be a fun afternoon with not only with fashion and dinner, but the evening will also includes food, door prizes, โRambling Roseโ Pryor doing a book signing for her new book, African-American Community, History and Entertainment in Maryland.
