2023 Annual Baltimore High Tea Reflections & Pictures Below
The fifth annual AFRO High Tea was held in Baltimore on April 22. Maryland’s finest came together for a sold-out event that was held at Martin’s West. Women adorned large hats, and lacy gloves in a display of divine femininity, and men donned their best suits and ties.
The AFRO was happy to honor four of Maryland’s leading ladies. Read more about the tea here and enjoy the following tribute video just in time for Mother’s Day!

2022 Annual Baltimore High Tea Reflections
KUDOS to all that attended our 4th Annual Baltimore High Tea with a special shout-out to the members of the AFRO Team led by Diane Hocker for not only attending or hostessing, but also for serving in so many capacities.
One guest wrote: “Thanks for the invite. I had a ball. The tea turned out great!!!” Another wrote, ” Today was wonderful. It was the first time I attended a big event since 2019.”
This year we asked guests to submit pictures of their favorite “Women Who Win” for a special slideshow presentation that can be viewed below:
Yes, the food was great, the fashion was amazing, the fellowship was off the chain, and the favors were so unique. The Kahoot game and “strutting the runway” also were big hits. And what can we say about those hats?
We enjoyed reconnecting with so many of you and are thankful to our hostesses who serve as ambassadors for the AFRO – we could not have had such a successful event without you!
