On May 19 at 6:30 p.m., the Allenwood Elementary School (AES) PTA will host the Young Educated Spellers (Y.E.S.) Spelling Bee at the school, located at 6300 Harley Lane. The purpose of the spelling bee is to fulfill the Allenwood Elementary School pledge of being citizens of the Allenwood Wildcat community, relentlessly pursuing purpose, taking ownership of r destiny and achieving academic excellence. The Y.E.S. Spelling Bee will include some of the school’s top spellers ranging from the Kindergarten through sixth grade.
