Angus P. Wood Jr., husband of Pauline Hendricks Wood, was born in Richmond, Va., June 30, 1926, the second child of Angus Percy Wood Sr., of Richmond, Va. and Mozelle Anderson Wood of Boston, Mass.

Angus received his education in the public schools in Richmond, Va. and attended Hampton Institute (University) in Hampton, Va. He was a veteran of World War II and retired as a sergeant from the United States Army having served from 1944-1946. He also retired from the Air force (1949-1953) where he received training as a Senior Supply Record Specialist both in the United States and Japan.

He was a draftsman and amateur, self-trained photographer. He enjoyed being the photographer and an ordained deacon of Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ in Washington, D.C. He enjoyed reading, collecting rare coins and stamps, and developing pictures in his basement dark room.

He as proceeded in death by both his parents and his sister, Doris Wood Williams. He leaves behind his wife, Pauline Hendricks Wood, and a host of relatives and friends.
