Two Toronto men have been arrested in connection with the beating death of a University of Baltimore student, police said, while a third man remains at large.
According to The Toronto Star, the men face charges of second-degree murder for the death of Julian Jones, 26. Toronto police said Jones was in Canada for a friend’s bachelor party, and was beaten to death in what police call an “unprovoked” attack by at least “seven to nine men” while out celebrating.

Charged in the killing were Kamari Folkes, 24, and Kenneth Omorogbe, 25. The third suspect is described as a White, slim male in his 20s, according to the Star.
At a press conference on Nov. 10, Toronto Police Det. Sgt. Gary Giroux said Jones was separated from his friends and kicked and stomped while lying semi-conscious on the ground. Jones died en route to the hospital.
Jones, an undergraduate student at University of Baltimore was majoring in the Environmental Sustainability and Human Ecology program and was on track to graduate next year. He was engaged and due to be married in the spring.
“I’m going to do everything to get these people brought to justice for killing him and find the energy and time to keep talking to you all,” Tobias Jones, Julian’s father, said in a statement to the media from his Glen Burnie home.
Toronto police said investigators obtained clear images of the suspects from surveillance video and pictures from a computer containing closed circuit camera images.
