In honor of historian and founder of Black History Month, Carter G. Woodson, Baltimore will be hosting the Legends & Legacies Heritage Bus Tour Feb. 21 and 28. This year’s theme is “Celebrating a Century of Black Life, History, and Culture.”
This special tour will explore the deepest root of African-American history through three signature African-American museums: The Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture, the National Great Blacks In Wax Museum and the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park Museum.
During the tours, visitors from all around the world will receive a personal tour guide, appearances by period actors, a special “shoe box lunch,” giveaways and more.
The first tour will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 21. The second tour will be 3 p.m. on Feb. 28.
Tickets are on sale for $25 per person.
