The Baltimore Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) has named Baltimore City Community College the winner of its 2010 Marketing Excellence Award in Education. The association presented the honor at its end-of-year gala June 3 at the Colonnade Inn and Spa.

AMA cited the college’s Workforce Pipeline Solutions rebranding effort which promotes the college’s focus on preparing adult learners of all ages for high-demand career fields, while meeting the high-skill workforce needs of Maryland employers.

Herbert Sledge, BCCC director of advertising, accepted the award on behalf of the college.
