The Morgan State University Bears lost their fourth straight game, falling to the Bethune-Cookman(BCC) Wildcats, 24-13 on Nov. 3 in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The Bears struggled to stop the Wildcats’ rushing attack, led by junior running back Isidore Jackson, who ran for 111 yards and a late touchdown to lead Bethune-Cookman to their fifth straight victory.

Bethune-Cookman (7-2 overall, 5-0 MEAC) finished the game with 259 total rushing yards, compared to Morgan State’s meager 76 yards on the ground. BCC sophomore quarterback Quentin Williams added 64 yards on 12 carries while also completing 7-of-11 passes for 70 yards and a touchdown.

Bears senior running back Travis Davidson ran for only 55 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries while redshirt sophomore quarterback Robert Council completed just 17-of-31 passes for 121 yards.

Morgan State (3-6 overall, 2-4 MEAC) will face conference foe Norfolk State on Nov. 11 in Norfolk, Va.
