Black Girls Vote & Under Armour to host “PARTY AT THE MAILBOX” Packing Party!

Partnership encouraging citizens to VOTE in November 3rd General Election!

BALTIMORE, MD (October 21, 2020) — Black Girls Vote, Inc. (BGV) and Under Armour are hosting a “Party at the Mailbox” Packing Party, bringing volunteers and supporters together with  FOOD, MUSIC AND FUN to get voters engaged and excited for the upcoming general election! Employees from Under Armour will join BGV on Friday, October 23 at Downtown Locker Room (DTLR), 1300 Mercedes Drive, Hanover, MD from 10:00 am – 12 noon.

Due to Covid 19, citizens are expected to vote by mail in record numbers and BGV and Under Armour want to equip Baltimore voters with tools that encourage their greater participation.  BGV and their corporate partners will be creating over 2,000 fun-filled “Party at the Mailbox” voting kits at the packing party. These “must have” election boxes include an array of party favors, Baltimore based snacks, a Party at the Mailbox t-shirt, and more!

This packing party with Under Armour is part of several activities created by BGV to engage voters in Baltimore with events also being held in Detroit and Philadelphia. Under Armour believes as a responsible corporate citizen it is important to encourage voter participation and civic engagement. Joining Under Armour as sponsors for the packing party are Baltimore Vote, Globe Press, National Conference on Citizenship and Downtown Locker Room with support also being provided by T.Rowe Price and Abell Foundations.
