Walden University and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) recently announced a partnership that will allow NOBLE members to enroll in online higher education programs at a reduced rate.

According to a press release, Walden’s School of Public Policy and Administration has also created six new certificate programs designed to meet the educational needs of NOBLE’s members.

“Walden is proud to partner with the men and women of NOBLE to provide educational opportunities. Emphasizing the importance of continuing education ? both your own and of those who serve under you ? can only help to advance the knowledge and insights required to uphold the guiding principles of NOBLE and of the greater law enforcement community,” said Jonathan Kaplan, president of Walden, in a press statement.

The six new Walden certificate programs, comprised of five graduate and one undergraduate classes, allow NOBLE members and other students to update skills and explore new career opportunities in public policy, homeland security, nonprofit management and criminal justice.
