Word In Black
This report presents the findings of Word In Blackโs national survey from its new Insights & Research Division, exploring how Black Americans think about organ donation and why deep gaps persist between support in theory and participation in practice. Based on responses from more than 1,500 people, the study examines the role of medical mistrust, family concerns and experiences with the health care system that shape decisions at the most critical moments. By centering Black voices and pairing data with lived experience, this report offers evidence that can inform more culturally responsive outreach, policy and care.
