Bowie High School (13-7), (Bowie, Md.) finished the regular season on an eight-game win streak after taking down Beltsville, Md.-based High Point High School 81-58 on Feb. 15. Bulldogs senior guard Isaiah Burke had 19 points while junior guard Jordan Harris pitched in with 12 points to help lead their team to victory.

Upper Marlboro-based Frederick Douglass High School (14-5) took down Largo High School (Largo, Md.) 61-52 on Feb. 16. Frederick Douglass senior guard Eric Isler led the Eagles in scoring with 20 points against the Lions.

Eagles sophomore guard Darnell Snowden dropped 15 points and senior power forward Jabraun Shingler scored 11 points.

Eleanor Roosevelt High School (15-5) located in Greenbelt, Md. closed out the regular season on a five-game win streak after cruising to a 31-point victory (63-32) over Riverdale, Md.-based Parkdale High School on Feb. 15.

Eleanor Roosevelt junior guard Cameron Brown led the way with 13 points while senior center Miles Allen scored in double-figures as well with 10 points. Raiders senior combo guard Jaden Faulkner pitched in nine points.

Oxon Hill, Md.-based Potomac High School (20-2) took down Gwynn Park High School located in Brandywine, Md. 90-68 on Feb. 15. The Wolverines had four players score in double-figures. Senior point guard Jason Newman led his team in scoring with 19 points and accounted for 10 assists and four rebounds. Senior forward Emmanuel Doby and senior guard Isaiah Funderburk scored 18 points respectively while senior forward Kevin Mallet chipped in with 10 points.

Fort Washington, Md.-based National Christian Academy (14-9) defeated Riverdale Baptist School located in Upper Marlboro, Md. 65-60 on Feb. 16. National Christian junior guard Ihsan Khan led his team in scoring with 20 points while junior forward Tyrae Washington scored 16 points. Freshman guard Jakai Robinson, who leads National Christian in scoring with more than 19 points per game, accounted for 13 points.

Fairmont Heights High School (18-4) located in Capitol Heights, Md. is on a roll after taking down Clinton, Md.-based Surrattsville High School 75-52 on Feb. 15. The Hornets also dominated Gwynn Park High School located in Brandywine, Md. 90-68 on Feb. 13.

Fairmont Heights is 13-1 in their conference and are led by senior guards Kimani Benjamin and Darren Lucas-White who are each averaging over 17 points per game. The Hornets will have an opportunity to play for the Prince George’s County Championship at Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School in Upper Marlboro on Feb. 22 against the Pumas (18-4).
