The last outdoor costume event of the season is scheduled to be held at the Brookland’s Farmer’s Market, located at  716 Monroe St., NE, on Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon.. Enjoy the crisp air as you create hats and necklaces for children in hospitals and care facilities. The event is free to attend. Tickets for the event are on eventbrite.com.
