Bulls Bounce Back to Beat Hawks in Game 2, 86-73

The Chicago Bulls bounced back from their Game 1 loss, beating the Atlanta Hawks, 86-73, in Game 2 on May 4.

The Bulls were shocked by the outstanding play of Hawks’ guard Joe Johnson, who scored 34 points to steal a road win in the opening game of the Eastern Conference Playoff second round. But Chicago came ready in Game 2, holding Johnson to only 16 points as they locked the series up, 1-1.

Chicago was led by the NBA’s Most Valuable Player, Derrick Rose, with 25 points and 10 assists. Both Joakim Noah and Loul Deng also added double-doubles, as Noah scored 19 points with 14 rebounds and Deng added 14 points with 12 rebounds.

Game 3 will tip on in Atlanta on Friday night.
