Guerdwich Montimere, a naturalized citizen from Haiti, was arrested and charged May 11 with false identification to a peace officer after enrolling Texas’ Permian High School in 2009 and posing as Jerry Joseph, according to the Odessa American Newspaper.

After his initial arrest on Tuesday for false identification to a peace officer, he was arrested again on Thursday and charged with third-degree felony for tampering with a government document before Friday’s arrest. Montimere was arrested again last Friday on sexual assault allegations after a 16-year-old girl told police and Texas school officials that she had sex with him last August under the belief that he was 15-year-old Jerry Joseph Odessa police, according to Cpl. Sherrie Carruth. Before turning himself in Friday afternoon, Montimere had posted bonds of $500 and $7,500 after his first two arrests but remains at the Ector County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond. The sexual assault charge, a second-degree felony, carries a sentence of two to 20 years in prison and a fine up to $10,000.
