WHAT:          Comptroller Franchot will present a proclamation to Dave and Darlene Stahl, owners of Pete’s Grille, who serve as cook and waitress respectively each day. For more than 50 years, the restaurant has been a Baltimore landmark, serving customers breakfast and lunch offerings. A frequent winner of “Baltimore’s Best Breakfast,” Pete’s Grille specializes in traditional Southern breakfast fare. It has won awards as a best breakfast place in 2010 from Baltimore’s City Paper and in 2011 by Baltimore Magazine. In addition to its great fare, the restaurant has a dedicated staff that makes sure customers have a great experience.
