Dr. Anne O. Emery, the venerated Baltimore educator and community leader who died Aug. 19, will be honored formally during a memorial service Oct. 24, at 10 a.m. The service will take place at Emery’s home church, Heritage United Church of Christ, 3106 Liberty Heights. According to the church, the service for Dr. Emery will be invitation only and will be live streamed via March Funeral Homes website, www.marchfh.com.
“We are following the executive order for 25 percent capacity of the church with all CDC safety protocols followed (masks, social distancing) required,” said Pastor Scott Adams of Heritage United.
Emery succumbed to multiple myeloma. She was 93.
