Edwards Statement on Passing of Former Maryland Governor Marvin Mandel
Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Donna F. Edwards (MD-4) issued the following statement on the passing of former Maryland Governor Marvin Mandel.
“Today, Maryland mourns the passing of former governor Marvin Mandel. A force in state government throughout his 26-year career, he will be remembered for his efforts to reorganize Maryland state government, build a subway system in Baltimore, and invest $1 billion on school construction. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.”
