On Dec. 4 Dr. Larry P. Jackson, Professor at Emory University, will visit Baltimore with his students to share the research they conducted in his newly designed course “African American Studies 100: Baltimore Up Rising.” The topics studied include Mass Incarceration, Educational Inequality, Residential Segregation, and Healthcare Disparities in Baltimore City, Maryland. The weekend long event will begin with a forum between 10 a.m. and 1p.m. at the Pennsylvania Branch of the Enoch Pratt Library.
