February 2, 1943 – February 22, 2024
With sadness, we acknowledge the passing of the husband of Laura Phillips Byrd, a member of the AFRO Board of Directors. Dr. Byrd, a second-generation dentist, dedicatedly served the Baltimore community throughout his life.
He was also a lifetime member of the Pi Omega Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Our thoughts and condolences are with Laura Phillips Byrd and her family during this difficult time.
