The Baltimore Ravens earned their biggest win of the season so far, using a last-minute touchdown drive to down the arch rival Pittsburgh Steelers, 23-20, on Nov. 6 at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Down 20-16, with only seconds left in the game, Ravens’ quarterback Joe Flacco tossed a 26-yard touchdown pass to rookie receiver Torrey Smith to push the Ravens ahead. The Ravens swept the two-game season series with the Steelers for the first time since the 2006 season.

Outstanding Player of the Game:
Joe Flacco completed 28-of-47 passes for 300 yards, including a game-winning touchdown pass. The win marks the second straight year he has thrown a game-winning touchdown on the road against the Steelers, and his ninth career fourth quarter game-winning drive. He engineered a similar drive against the Arizona Cardinals on Oct. 30.

The Steelers didn’t turn the ball over nearly as much as they did in a week 1, 35-7 loss to the Ravens, but veteran linebacker Terrell Suggs came up with one huge turnover when he intercepted Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in the third quarter that led to the Ravens’ first lead of the game.

Unsung Heroes of the Game:
Rookie receiver Torrey Smith will get a lot of praise for his game-winning touchdown catch, but he also dropped a wide-open touchdown just a few plays earlier and dropped other easy catches early in the game. While he was dropping balls, second-year tight end Dennis Pitta was catching everything, hauling in five catches for 46 yards. Veteran receiver Anquan Boldin led the team with seven catches for 88 yards, while Smith followed with five receptions for 71 yards.

More Game Notes:
Ravens running back Ray Rice finished with 18 carries for 43 yards and a touchdown. Steelers’ running back Rashard Mendenhall rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown, while Roethlisberger completed 20 of 37 passes for 330 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Next Up:
The Ravens (6-2) will prepare for a road trip to Seattle to take on the Seahawks (2-6) on Nov. 13 at 4:15 p.m.
