Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) stole the show on Sunday March 24 by becoming the first No. 15 seed in NCAA Tournament history to reach the Sweet 16. FGCU upset No. 7 seed San Diego State, 81-71, to advance on. FGCU was just one of two lower seed teams to beat a higher seed in eight games played Sunday to complete the round of 32.

No. 1 seed Indiana also shined in the spotlight of Sunday’s games as their star junior guard Victor Oladipo scored a team-high 16 points, including a game-clinching jump shot in the closing seconds, to lead his team to a close 58-52 win over No. 9 seed Temple. Oladipo, an Upper Marlboro, Md. native who graduated from DeMatha High School, is considered one of the best players in the country and may end up as the No. 1 pick in the 2013 NBA draft.
