(BALTIMORE) – Tomorrow, Friday, July 31, 2015, Governor Larry Hogan’s Office for Children will present a $10,000 grant to the Choo Smith Youth Empowerment Foundation. The $10,000 GOC grant was awarded to the Family League of Baltimore, who will present the GOC grant to former Harlem Globetrotter and Baltimore City native Charles “Choo” Smith.

The grant protects the State’s investment in the Choo Smith Youth Empowerment Foundation’s Summer Basketball Camp by covering the camp’s operating expenses for the remainder of the 2015 program.
