Recognizes Their Professionalism, Skill, and Dedication to the StateANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Larry Hogan today issued a statewide proclamation announcing May 4, 2016 as State Employee Recognition Day.
“State employees are the backbone of our government and are on the front lines every day helping to change Maryland for the better,” said Governor Hogan. “The tremendous progress our state has experienced over the last 15 months – from creating over 60,000 jobs, to cutting taxes and tolls, to improving services that touch the day-to-day lives of our citizens – would not be possible without their hard work and dedication. It is an honor to serve the people of our state alongside them.”
