Governor Larry Hogan Remembers Victims of September 11th, Honors First Responders
ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Larry Hogan today visited Baltimore’s World Trade Center in the Inner Harbor to pay his respects to and remember the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. During his visit, the governor laid a ceremonial wreath at the base of the September 11th memorial that stands at the Trade Center.
“Today, we as a nation remember the victims of September 11th and the families who lost their loved ones during those attacks,” Governor Hogan said. “What started as a normal morning turned into a day that would change our world forever. The First Lady and I are praying for all those whose lives were impacted that day, for the first responders whose bravery and strength comforted a nation in mourning, and for all our leaders who work tirelessly to ensure peace and security in our country. Since that fateful day fourteen years ago, America has persevered, her strength and fortitude an example of what is possible when we are united as one.”
