Bishop Rudolph W. McKissick, Jr. will be the preacher during the 11 a.m. service on Oct. 2 in Cramton Auditorium located on the campus of Howard University, 2455 6th St. N.W. He is senior pastor at Bethel Baptist Institutional Church in Jacksonville, Fla.

Since his return to Bethel in 1995, more that 10,000 souls have been added to the ministry bringing the active discipleship to well over 14,000. He serves along with his father, Bishop Rudolph W. McKissick, Sr., who served the church for more than 40 years as pastor.

Their partnership is unique, not only because they are father and son, but they were also born and reared in Bethel, serving in various capacities before entering the pastorate.

The Rev. Dr. Floyd H. Flake will preach on Oct. 9. These services that are open to the public are broadcast over WHUR radio station on the following Sunday. Recordings of these services are also available. Call 202-806-7208 for additional information.
