Following the release of the film, “42,” baseball legend Jackie Robinson’s story comes to life once more, this time in comic book form.

“Fame: Jackie Robinson” was released earlier this month through Bluewater Productions. The book is a reissue of Personality Comic’s famed ‘90s comic-biography of the baseball legend.

“We are very excited to work with Bluewater on this new venture and looking forward to great things with them,” Personality Comics, publisher Adam Post said in a statement.

“The early 90’s were a golden age of biographical comic books. As a rabid fan of both baseball and comics, I couldn’t have asked for a better assignment than to write the life story of Jackie Robinson. It’s great to see this classy illustrated biography of the Dodger legend introduced to a new generation of readers,” writer Robert Schnakenberg said in a statement.

Bluewater also released a comic on baseball great Alex Rodriguez. “Fame: Alex Rodriguez” takes a look at the athlete’s early days and his rise to fame.
