Keilley Gatewood was born on Aug. 2, 1997 in Baltimore, Md. to Mark and Jill Gatewood. She passed away on Sun. Feb. 24, 2013 at the age of 15 years old.

In November 1998, Keilley was in a motor vehicle accident that nearly took her life. Even though she sustained a traumatic brain injury, her strong will and tough-as-leather attitude pulled her through. During her occasional hospital stays, sometimes with a slim life expectancy, she amazed doctors with her recovery. To the doctors Keilley was the definition of a miracle. Keilley loved those free rub downs by Tiffany. She adopted two wonderful parents, Al and Michelle, as well as several nicknames: “Bo-Bo” by her family, “hairy legs” by Sister Miles and by her Daddy, “Gee-A-Bee,” which Keilley loved to hear along with his singing.

Keilley will be remembered for her love of Jehovah God Kingdom melodies and her love of friends. She leaves to mourn her parents, Mark and Jill; four sisters, Cortney, Jasmine, Morgan and Tamara; four brothers, Sterling, Mark, Brian and Maurice; niece Jayden; Grandma Coretha; eight aunts, Sherri, Lisa, Shanee, Angel, Joy, Venus, Lisa and Evelyn; nine uncles, Keith, Charlie, Adriel, Lester, Michael, Aaron, Kemp, Alexander and Raynard; cousins Tierra, Shyheim, Ashaad, Kadijah, Dachanell, Deshawntae; Dr. Keane; the wonderful staff of P.A.T.H.; William Bauer and Battle Monument Schools and a host of wonderful therapists, family and friends.

Keilley will clearly be missed by all.
