Following recent recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that suggest individuals should wear face coverings in public settings, Kennedy Krieger Institute recently launched a new protocol making mask-wearing a universal requirement at the Institute. With this new protocol comes the need for all staff, including non-clinical employees who are not seeing or treating patients, to wear masks.

Kennedy Krieger is calling on groups, organizations and individuals to donate masks to the organization. The Institute is accepting masks of all kinds including N95, homemade cloth masks or conventional surgical masks. All masks can be dropped off or shipped to Kennedy Krieger and the Institute encourages senders to include a note with their name, address, phone number and email address so the Institute can acknowledge the gift.

Mail or drop off masks at 707 N. Broadway St. Baltimore, Md. 21205. Visit for more information.
