The Oklahoma City Thunder put on a shooting clinic to finally topple the Memphis Grizzles with a lopsided 105-90 win in game seven of their second-round series at the Oklahoma City Arena on May 15.

Washington, D.C. native Kevin Durant led the way with 39 points on 13 of 25 shooting, including 4-for-9 behind the three-point line and a perfect 9-for-9 from the free-throw line.

Guard James Harden followed the forward’s performance with 17 points, 4-for-7 from behind the arc, and guard Russell Westbrook added a triple-double of 14 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds.

“I just wanted to stay aggressive and attack all game,” Durant said following the game. “I don’t care if I shot 10 for 30, just stay aggressive with attack to the basket.”

The Thunder also played tight defense, limiting Grizzlies power forward Zack Randolph to just 17 points. Guards Mike Conley scored 18 points and O.J. Mayo added 14 points.

Memphis ended an impressive postseason run in which they upset the top-seeded San Antonio Spurs in the opening round.

Oklahoma City will face the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference finals. Dallas eliminated the NBA defending champion Los Angeles Lakers with a 4-0 sweep in the semifinals earlier in May.

Game one of the Western Conference finals tips off Tuesday, May 17 at 9 p.m.
